2011 Alberta Cup, April 13-17, Lethbridge
The 2011 Alberta Cup was won by the Calgary South Flames, 3-2, over the Northwest Sharks in a shootout. Brayden Point scored the tournament winning goal after the teams were unable to determine a winner during overtime. The victory avenged an earlier defeat in round-robin action, when Northwest defeated Calgary South, 4-1. Calgary South won its other round-robin games over Edmonton North and Calgary North, before defeating Edmonton South, 3-2, in overtime in the semi-finals.
