Bantam Male

The Team Alberta North Bantam Male U16 squad got off to a hot start in Fairbanks, Alaska for the 2014 Arctic Winter Games, with wins over Nunavut and Northwest Territories to open round-robin play.

After a loss to Alaska, Team Alberta North finished second in the round-robin, and went on to defeat Northwest Territories once again in the semifinal to advance to the gold medal game against Alaska.

Team Alberta would go on to lose 5-1 to Alaska, who went undefeated at the tournament, to earn the silver medal.

Junior Female

It was a slow start for the Junior Female U18 team, as it started out the Arctic Winter Games with a 3-1 loss to Alaska, but Team Alberta North would bounce back with wins against Nunavut, Northwest Territories and the Yukon to finish second in round-robin play.

Similar to the Bantam Males, Team Alberta North would advance to the gold medal game following a 3-1 victory over the Yukon, but were also stopped short of a gold medal by a red-hot Team Alaska, and finished the tournament with a silver medal.
