Long-Term Player Development Skills Camps

Hockey Alberta’s LTPD Camps focus on the development of athletes through hockey specific training both on and off the ice, while also incorporating multi-sport activities to foster overall athleticism within a fun and enjoyable environment for the player.

Each weekend camp includes on-ice and off-ice sessions, and accepts a specified number of skaters and goalies to allow for grouping of athletes. The camps are open to male and female athletes.

Participants receive a Hockey Alberta practice jersey and t-shirt.

Age eligibility may vary each camp, so please check the detailed information that is included with the camp registration information. Every attempt is made to group players based on age and ability.

Long Term Player Development Camps, as well as a number of other specialized player development camps, are held at various locations throughout Alberta, and are coordinated by the Hockey Alberta Regional Centres.
