Para Hockey Equipment Application Form

Hockey Alberta has acquired a number of sledges and pairs of sticks for utilization by Para Hockey programs throughout the province. These sledges are adjustable and come in a variety of sizes to accommodate all athletes. These are standard sledges that Hockey Canada uses for many development and introductory events, and can also be modified as players improve to mirror more closely the equipment used at the elite level.

While Hockey Alberta will be using these sleds for development programs throughout the season, there are opportunities for Minor Hockey Associations or community groups to borrow equipment from Hockey Alberta for Para Hockey programming/ events. Requests must be submitted via the online form (see below). Allocation decisions will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, in conjunction with use for Hockey Alberta programming. Sledges will be loaned for up to four weeks, although that maximum duration may be adjusted based on interest in using the equipment.

All Para Hockey programming must be approved and sanctioned by Hockey Alberta.
