Athletic Therapist and Equipment Manager. We are a community-driven, non-profit private company focused on developing athletes through teamwork, commitment, and discipline.

Position Overview

 Reporting to the Head Coach and General Manager, the successful candidate will oversee the prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation of player injuries while managing all team equipment and dressing room operations.

Key Responsibilities

 Athletic Therapy:

 ·         Injury Management: Provide assessment, emergency care, and rehabilitation for all players; develop and execute specific "return to play" plans.

·         Medical Coordination: Liaise with physicians, dentists, and other medical personnel; maintain detailed medical records and coordinate insurance claims.

·         Team Coverage: Provide medical coverage for all practice sessions and games (home and away), including travel with the team.

·         Emergency Planning: Develop and maintain an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) for the team.

Equipment Management:

·         Inventory & Maintenance: Manage the inventory, distribution, and repair of all team equipment and medical supplies.

·         Technical Duties: Perform daily skate sharpening, equipment modifications, and laundry.

·         Operations: Maintain the tidiness of the training room and dressing rooms; oversee game-day interns and assist with visiting team needs.
