U13AA, U15AA Head Coach
The Leduc Minor Hockey Association (LMHA) is actively seeking enthusiastic Head Coaches for their U13AA and U15AA Roughnecks programs for the upcoming 2026-27 hockey season. Coaches are compensated with competitive honorariums, travel and accommodation expenses, coaching gear packages, and course reimbursements.
The Ideal Coach
LMHA is searching for passionate, high-performance leaders who are committed to both on-ice skill development and positive off-ice mentorship. Successful candidates will have:
- High-level technical hockey knowledge.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
- A proven track record of motivating athletes and building a respectful team culture.
- High levels of organization and preparedness.
· The ability to identify areas for team and player improvement and develop structured practices and team events to support growth.
Key Responsibilities
As a Head Coach for the Alberta Elite Hockey League (AEHL) stream, your duties will include:
- Acting as a primary mentor and guide high-performance young athletes.
- Identifying areas for team/player improvement and designing structured practice plans.
- Delegating responsibilities and collaborating closely with assistant coaches.
- Partnering with 3rd-party power-skating, goaltending, and performance coaches.
- Representing the core values of LMHA and the Roughnecks program at all times.
