CALGARY - Madden Daneault is a Kelowna Rocket.
Daneault (Red Deer) was selected first overall by the Rockets on day one of the 2026 WHL Draft. Daneault had a historic season in the Alberta Elite Hockey League, putting up a record point total of 149 points (65G-84A) during the 2025-2026 season and earning a silver medal at the U15AAA Provincial Championships with the Red Deer U15AAA Rebels. Daneault proceeded to have fantastic showing at the Alberta Cup, putting up 13 points (7G-6A) in six games for Team Alberta Black and earning an invite to the U16 Team Alberta Male Summer Camp.
