Eight goalies, 24 defence and 48 forwards born in 2011 have been invited to attend the camp scheduled for June 30 to July 4 at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre in Red Deer. Players attending this camp are competing to earn a spot on Team Alberta U16 Male, who are attending the 2027 Canada Winter Games in Quebec City from February 27 to March 6, 2027.

Hockey Alberta previously announced the coaching staff for the U16 Male squad in February, with head coach James Poole leading the way on the bench alongside assistant coaches Ryan Allen and Jack Redlick, video coach Justin Ostertag and goalie coach Theo Zubot.

Selections were determined based on the Team Alberta scouting process throughout the 2025-2026 season and the 2026 Alberta Cup. From summer camp, a short list of players for Team Alberta is set, and players continue to be scouted with their club teams until the 20 player-roster is named.
