Hockey Alberta is seeking a talented and energetic professional to join the organization as our newest Coordinator, Marketing and Communications.

The Marketing and Communications department provides expertise, leadership, and services to Hockey Alberta and the Hockey Alberta Foundation. This includes: website and online digital content, social media, direct communication, media relations, public relations, promotions, graphic design, event planning and execution, photography, and video. Marketing and Communications staff work with internal and external stakeholders, including Hockey Alberta and Hockey Alberta Foundation staff and volunteers, Member organizations, participants, external agencies, Hockey Canada and its Member Branches, the media, and other partners in the hockey community.

2021 Female Hockey Day shows #WhyWePlay

RED DEER – Hockey Alberta hosted the third annual (but first-ever virtual) Female Hockey Day on January 30-31.

Nearly 300 female hockey players, parents, coaches, and supporters gathered on Zoom over the weekend to engage and learn from accomplished speakers and panelists. Topics covered included nutrition for athletes, Team Alberta, opportunities in hockey, being active at home, mental skills & goal setting, Team Canada, and mobility.

All sessions were recorded and will be posted on Hockey Alberta’s YouTube soon. You can view clips of the weekend on Hockey Alberta’s Instagram.
