Athletic Trainer - U18 AAA

The U18 AAA Airdrie Bisons are seeking a qualified and motivated Athletic Trainer to join our team for the 2026-27 season. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the health, safety, and performance of our athletes throughout the season. This position includes coverage for three weekday morning practices, home and away games, and team activities throughout the season.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide athletic therapy and injury support during team practices and games.
Be available for three weekday morning practices per week, scheduled games, and team activities.
Assess and manage player injuries while communicating effectively with coaches, players, and families.
Assist with injury prevention, rehabilitation, and return-to-play protocols.
Maintain a professional and positive team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Certification in Athletic Therapy, Sports Therapy, Kinesiology, Physiotherapy, or a related field.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Experience working with hockey teams or high-performance athletes is preferred.
Strong communication and decision-making skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holiday schedules during the season.
