2025 Season Prep Program - Peace River

Hockey Alberta’s 2025 Season Prep Camp is an Alberta Built Skills program that will prepare athletes for the 2025-26 season focusing on individual skill development skating, shooting, passing and puck control drills. 

All ice sessions will be conducted by a Hockey Canada Certified Skill Instructor along with Hockey Alberta trained instructors.

At this Alberta Built Skills camp, your child receives:

4 on-ice skill sessions (one per day)

WHO: U11, U13, U15/U18 Groups

WHEN: August 26-29 (U11-U18)

WHERE: Peace River, Baytex Energy Centre

COST: $250

NOTE: Players are asked to bring any snacks they may need and their own Water Bottle that is for their use only.

A schedule and further detail regarding the camp will be emailed to participants and their parents prior to the start of camp.

Group Ice times are listed below. Please note that Tuesday to Thursday ice times are in the Afternoon and Friday ice session is in the Morning. 

U11 Group - 2:15pm - 3:15pm (Tuesday - Thursday) 

                      9:00am - 10:00am (Friday)

U13 Group - 3:30pm - 4:30pm (Tuesday - Thursday) 

                     10:15am - 11:15am (Friday)

U15/U18 Group - 4:45pm - 5:45pm (Tuesday - Thursday) 

                             11:30am - 12:30pm (Friday)

All sessions are at the Baytex Energy Center, Peace River

All Athletes will respect, uphold and embrace:

  • The guiding principle of "Professionalism" in that they treat all team staff members, officials, opponents, peers, administrators and all others in which they come in contact, with respect and dignity while involved in Hockey Alberta development programs
  • The principles of fair play, safety and respect towards other athletes and recognize that fighting, verbal abuse, and checking from behind will NOT be tolerated, and may jeopardize further participation in Hockey Alberta development programs
  • The spirit of competition in which athletes are expected to compete hard and fair and NEVER compromise the safety of another individual
  • That winning is secondary, and that having fun, improving skills, making friends and doing your best are the primary goals
  • That team staff members and officials are there to help you and will accept their decisions and show them respect
  • The rules, bylaws and regulations of Hockey Alberta, and suspensions incurred in any Hockey Alberta Development Program will carry into the club system, as per Hockey Alberta Minimum Suspension Guidelines
  • Specific rules and codes of conducts agreed upon by specific teams while involved in Hockey Alberta’s Development Programs
  • Responsibility for all their own personal items.
