2026 Arctic Winter Games - FEMALE Selection Camp
Registration is now open for Female athletes born in 2007-2012 to participate in the 2026 Arctic Winter Games Selection Camp.
The selection camp will be held in Manning, AB on December 5-7, 2025. This camp is for players born in 2007-2012 playing at any level for the 2025-26 season.
Communities eligible to participate in the Arctic Winter Games are located on or above the 55th Parallel. Click here to view a list of eligible communities.
Included as part of your registration fee for Selection Camp: Jersey, on ice practices and games for each participant attending.
The 2026 Arctic Winter Games are set to take place March 7 - March 15, 2026 in Whitehorse, Yukon.
Competition Notes:
The Arctic Winter Games are the world’s largest Northern multi-sport and cultural event. The Games are a celebration of athletic competition, culture, friendship and cooperation between Northern contingents. Teams that regularly participate in ice hockey include Alaska, Yukon, Alberta North, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
In 2024, Matanuska-Susitna Borough in Alaska hosted the Arctic Winter Games with Team Alberta North’s Female squad winning the Gold Medal (Ulu) and the U15 Male team claiming Silver.

All Athletes will respect, uphold and embrace:

The guiding principle of "Professionalism" in that they treat all team staff members, officials, opponents, peers, administrators and all others in which they come in contact, with respect and dignity while involved in Hockey Alberta development programs

The principles of fair play, safety and respect towards other athletes and recognize that fighting, verbal abuse, and checking from behind will NOT be tolerated, and may jeopardize further participation in Hockey Alberta development programs

The spirit of competition in which athletes are expected to compete hard and fair and NEVER compromise the safety of another individual

That winning is secondary, and that having fun, improving skills, making friends and doing your best are the primary goals

That team staff members and officials are there to help you and will accept their decisions and show them respect

The rules, bylaws and regulations of Hockey Alberta, and suspensions incurred in any Hockey Alberta Development Program will carry into the club system, as per Hockey Alberta Minimum Suspension Guidelines

Specific rules and codes of conducts agreed upon by specific teams while involved in Hockey Alberta’s Development Programs

The following is Hockey Alberta’s Refund Policy.
Prior to a program starting:

Up to one week prior to start of program/camp: Full refund minus administrative fee of $30

From 1 week to 72 hours prior to start of program/camp: Full refund minus administrative fee of $60

From 72 hours prior to start of program/camp: No refund
During a program:
- If a refund is deemed appropriate, it will be pro-rated to the amount of time the participant was in the program. For example: A camp costs $100 for five one hour sessions and a participant is injured in session two, and unable to complete the camp. The participant shall be entitled to a $60 refund.
Hockey Alberta Cancellation:
- In the event that Hockey Alberta cancels an event, participants would get a full refund.
Online Programs:
- No refunds shall be issued for online programs offered by or through Hockey Alberta
Other:
- In individual cases involving extenuating circumstances that fall outside of this policy, a refund request must be submitted in writting by the participant to Hockey Alberta. Each request will be reviewed by the appropriate department, who will make the decision as to whether a refund will occur.
