U18AA Female Coaches

Leduc Minor Hockey Association (LMHA) is very proud to host North Central Impact -Alberta Female Hockey League (AFHL) Female U15 AA and Female U18 AA hockey teams for the North Central Zone. U15AA is the top level of female U15 hockey in Alberta. The AFHL U15 AA consists of 12 zone teams, 6 in the North and 6 in the South. An approximate 26 game season has limited inter-conference play. AFHL’s U18AA program has an identical structure. The AA level enables skill development and bridges the gap between grassroots and high performance. We invite applications for 2021/22 position of NCI U18 Head Coach Leduc Minor Hockey Association is proud to offer the following supports to our Female AA Coaching Staff:  Paid Honorarium (Head Coach)  Transportation, hotels and meals paid for travel games  Reimbursement of required Coach clinics & supplemental clinics/seminars  Coach development & mentorship initiatives  On-ice support in the areas of offensive skill development, offensive skills tactics, defensive coaching, and goaltending development  Dedicated, consistent practice schedule  Technology supports for video review  Athlete Development Supports including, but not limited to:  Off-ice fitness expertise  Professional Nutrition advice and education  Athlete mental strength training Applicants should be self-motivated, organized, dedicated, resourceful, able to work well in a team environment, and able to motivate team staff and players. Preferably, applicants will be knowledgeable in: coaching female athletes, athlete promotion, skill development, offensive tactics, defensive strategies, system play, video review, coach mentorship and bench management. All Coaches are expected to have a minimum: NCCP Development 1, Checking Skills, and Respect in Sport. Applicants without specified coaching requirement(s) must be willing to complete these in the coming season. We endeavor to provide our athletes with skilled female coaches as part of the on-ice team staff. We are dedicated to building the best possible program for our recruitment area.
