Hockey Canada Awards

Each year, Hockey Canada honours leaders from across the country. Hockey Alberta recipients include:

2011

• Outstanding Volunteer of the Year: Terry Engen (Eckville)

2014

• Female Hockey Breakthrough Award (Outstanding contribution to advancing female hockey): Dave Peterson (Calgary)
• Hockey Canada Order of Merit – West (An individual who has served amateur hockey faithfully): Rob Virgil (Edmonton)

2016

• Hockey Canada Order of Merit Award ("served amateur hockey faithfully”): Terry Ledingham (Bon Accord)

2020

• Gordon Juckes Award (outstanding contribution to the development of amateur hockey in Canada at the national level. Nominees are from the fields of research, sports medicine, psychology, coaching, officiating, administration or related categories): Barry Medori

2021

• Hockey Canada Officiating Award: George McCorry
