Elite Player Movement Form

This form is currently closed.

The Elite Player Movement Process exists to allow players to apply to have their first tryout moved to a different draw zone if extenuating circumstances warrant the move (i.e. considerably closer travel, location of school/work, etc).

Factors such as ‘coach preference’, or ’a better team’, are not considered extenuating circumstances.

Applications for Elite Player Movement can be submitted to Hockey Alberta between May 1 to July 1 through the completion of the online form (decisions rendered by July 15). Rationale and supporting documentation must be included.

Players who made a team on a second tryout or were previously approved through Elite Player Movement can decide to return to the Association they were most recently registered with through the returning player process or choose to return to their Primary AAA Draw Zone.
