HOCKEY ALBERTA AWARDS GALA

Congratulations to all Award Winners and Alberta Hockey Hall of Fame Inductees at this year's Hockey Alberta Awards Gala held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Sheraton Hotel in Red Deer. Thank you to all sponsors and attendees for supporting the Hockey Alberta Foundation's fundraising efforts. The Hockey Alberta Foundation was pleased to raise over $30,000 which will support hockey history through the Alberta Hockey Hall of Fame, as well as Future Leaders Scholarships and the Every Kid Every Community Project. Each year the Gala is held in conjunction with the Hockey Alberta Annual General Meeting weekend.

This year, the Alberta Hockey Hall of Fame inductees are:

- 1994 University of Lethbridge Pronghorns Men's Hockey Team

- 1984-85 NAIT Ooks Men's Hockey Team

- Pioneer Category: George H. Harvie (Deceased)

- Wally Popik

- Ross Perkins

- Allan Ferchuk
