2015 Alberta Challenge - Medicine Hat

The North Predators won the 2015 ATB Alberta Challenge with a 2-1 victory over the South Lightning. The Lightning jumped out to a quick lead, just a few minutes into the first period, with a goal from Laura Jardin. Less than two minutes later, Brandy Steinman scored for the Predators to even the score at 1-1. The game would remain tied for the rest of the 1st and the entire 2nd period.

Early in the 3rd, Jayme Doyle scored what would turn out to be championship winning goal.

The Predators win would avenge an earlier loss to the South Lightning during round robin action. The North Predators came out of the round robin with two wins against the South Flyers and the North Red Wings, one loss against the South Lightning, and one tie against the North Royals.

The South Lightning defeat in the Final was their only loss of the event. They beat the North Red Wings to add to their aforementioned victory over the Predators during round robin and skated to a tie in their two other games against the South Coyotes and South Flyers.
