2022 Summer Contact Confidence Program - Red Deer
The 2022 Summer Contact Confidence Program is an Alberta Built Skills program designed to help prepare athletes for the 2022-23 season. Hockey Alberta’s Central Regional Centre will be hosting a series of off ice and on ice training sessions for athletes at the Gary W. Harris Centre at Red Deer College this August.
These sessions will introduce and reinforce proper checking skills for second year U13, and first and second year U15 players. All sessions will be conducted by Hockey Alberta Instructors.
WHO: 2008-2010 born players.
WHEN: Starting Tuesday, August 2nd at 5:00pm.
- Aug 2nd - 5:00pm to 6:00pm - Off Ice
- Aug 3rd - 5:00pm to 6:00pm - On Ice
- Aug 9th - 5:00pm to 6:00pm - Off Ice
- Aug 11th - 5:00pm to 6:00pm - On Ice
- Aug 16th - 5:00pm to 6:00pm - Off Ice
- Aug 18th - 5:00pm to 6:00pm - On Ice
- Aug 23rd - 5:00pm to 6:00pm - Off Ice
- Aug 25th - 5:00pm to 6:00pm - On Ice
WHERE: Gary W. Harris Centre at Red Deer College.
WHY: Introduce proper skills and techniques for safe and effective Body Checking.
COST: $300 ($20/off ice session and $35/on ice session)
