2019 Hockey Alberta Super Skills Camp - Grande Prairie


The Hockey Alberta Super Skills Summer Camp focuses on individual skill development on and off the ice, following the principles of Hockey Canada’s Long Term Player Development (LTPD) model. The Summer Super Skills Camp is led by Hockey Canada trained instructors, and is open to both male and female athletes born between Novice - Peewee

The camp will focus on individual skill development on and off the ice, through on-ice drills focused on skating, puck control, passing and shooting.  Off-ice sessions will work on agility, balance and coordination, following the principles of Hockey Canada’s Long Term Player Development Model.  Off-ice sessions will also incorporate other sports, to foster overall athleticism within the LTPD model. Power Edge Pro Skill Sessions will also be included.

This program will allow parents to drop off players at the rink at 8:30am and pick them up at 3:30pm once each day concludes. (Novice schedule and price are different due to shortened daily schedule)

The camp includes: NOVICE

  • 5 consecutive days of activities
  • 5 on ice sessions (1 daily)
  • 10 off ice sessions (2 daily)
  • Team Alberta practice jersey
  • Team Alberta issue t-shirt and shorts

The camp includes: ATOM and PEEWEE

  • 5 consecutive days of activities 
  • 10 on-ice sessions (2 daily)
  • 15 off-ice sessions (3 daily)
  • Team Alberta practice jersey
  • Team Alberta issue t-shirt and shorts

Cost (NOVICE): 399.99

Cost (ATOM/PEEWEE): $499.99

Refund Policy:

  • Up to one week prior to camp starting: Full refund less administrative fee of $30
  • From One week to 72 hours to beginning of camp: Full refund less administrative fee of $60
  • From 72 hours to beginning of the camp: No refund

During a Camp:

  • If a refund is deemed appropriate, it will be pro-rated to the amount of time the participant was in the program. 
    For example: A camp costs $100 for five one-hour sessions and a participant is injured in session two, and unable to complete the camp. The participant shall be entitled to a $60 refund.

Hockey Alberta Cancelation:

  • In the event that Hockey Alberta cancels an event, participants will get a full refund.
