Name the League

Hockey Alberta’s Male Alberta Development Model (ADM) Committee recently announced that changes are planned for the structure and organization of the Bantam AAA, Minor Midget AAA and Midget AAA leagues within Alberta. The proposed changes include the introduction of one new league structure where the Alberta Midget Hockey League (AMHL), Alberta Minor Midget Hockey League (AMMHL), and Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League (AMBHL) will come together and play under a single league banner as divisions within a new hockey league structure. The changes will also incorporate the announcement from Hockey Canada that naming conventions of the age categories of hockey in Canada will change for the 2020-21 season.

To help in the process of naming the new league structure, we are looking for input from the hockey community in Alberta. Fill out the form below with your submission.

NOTES:

  1. Deadline for submissions is Friday, March 20 at 4 pm (MT).
  2. Each individual making a submission will be entered into a random draw for a Hockey Alberta prize package.
  3. Prize draw will be held Monday, March 23 with the winner(s) contacted that day.
  4. Prize(s) must accepted as presented. No cash value or substitutions.
  5. Name submissions will be reviewed by Hockey Alberta. The new name of the league may be chosen from the submissions.

QUESTIONS? Please contact Hockey Alberta’s Mike Kraichy or Bryden Burrell.
