Hockey Alberta Summit
The 2022 Hockey Alberta Summit presented by Sprung Arenas, Stantec and CANA is taking place in Red Deer, at the Cambridge Hotel and Conference Centre, June 10-12. The summit aims to bring the leaders of our sport together for a weekend of Community, Collaboration & Innovation. Focusing on member appreciation and education, the summit will consist of presentations, workshop sessions, expert panels and social engagement. Through these various forums, we will explore both the challenges and opportunities facing our sport and our members that deliver it. To kickstart the weekend’s events, attendees are invited to participate in a golf tournament on Friday, June 10, at the Innisfail Golf Club in support of the Hockey Alberta Foundation.
In order to provide the most relevant education, sharing and discussions we will be offering three streams including:
- Coach and Player Development
Members are encouraged to identify executive members or community leaders that can represent your Minor Hockey Association as Presidents & Administrators, Development and Officiating.

The 2022 Hockey Alberta Summit is being held at the Cambridge Hotel and Conference Centre. The summit will take place Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday morning. Please check back for a detailed schedule and agenda.
With Community, Collaboration, and Innovation at the forefront, delegates will take part in sessions both within their specific stream, as well as larger groups. We aim to provide a range of topics, delivery methods and networking opportunities in order to engage, educate and challenge those in attendance.
Speakers and specific sessions will continually be updated to help best identify those that should represent your association. Below are the themes that will be focused on.
