CENTRE ICE PODCAST - EPISODE 9: COACHING SUCCESS STORIES Episode Nine of the Centre Ice Podcast features a pair of Alberta’s coaching success stories, with former National Women’s Team Coach and four-time Olympic gold medalist Mel Davidson, and Colorado Avalanche Assistant Coach Ray Bennett, who’s been coaching in the NHL for over 20 years. APRIL 7 OFFICIALLY DECLARED GREEN SHIRT DAY IN ALBERTA Since 2019, Canadians have been encouraged to wear green on April 7 to promote organ donation, in honour of Alberta’s Logan Boulet, one of the 16 people who died in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash. This year, though, Green Shirt Day has official recognition in Alberta. ALBERTA BUILT SKILLS CAMPS Alberta Built Skills Camps are back for Spring 2021! Each camp is focused on developing specific individual and team skills, and follow the principles of the Long Term Player Development model adopted by Hockey Alberta and Hockey Canada.
