AFHL ANNOUNCES 2019-20 AWARD AND SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS The Alberta Female Hockey League is pleased to announce the 2019-20 league award and scholarship winners. Four awards are handed out in each league: Most Valuable Player, Top Goaltender, Top Rookie, and Coach of the Year. One award is also given for the AFHL Administrator of the Year.
WESTERN BRANCHES OFFICIATING VIDEO - SEASON 2, EPISODE 9 The Western Hockey League, in association with BC Hockey, Hockey Alberta, the Saskatchewan Hockey Association, and Hockey Manitoba, are producing an episodic video series about development as an official. RECOGNIZING HOCKEY’S VOLUNTEERS ACROSS ALBERTA Hockey Alberta had the pleasure of joining organizations across Alberta and Canada in celebrating National Volunteer Week, which ran April 19-25. Over the course of National Volunteer Week, Hockey Alberta proudly featured a handful of Alberta’s hockey volunteers who have had a tremendous impact on the hockey experience in their community.
