2021-22 NHL/NHLPA FIRST SHIFT HOST APPLICATION PROCESS OPEN

The application period for local hockey associations wishing to host the NHL/NHLPA First Shift in 2021-22 is NOW OPEN! The six-week learn to play program continues to focus on having fun while learning basic skills. Full head-to-toe Bauer equipment is included with registration.

HOCKEY ALBERTA FOUNDATION ACCEPTED INTO BIRDIES FOR KIDS PROGRAM

The Hockey Alberta Foundation has been accepted as a participating charity in the Birdies for Kids program, presented by AltaLink. Within this fundraising program, Hockey Alberta Foundation will receive 100 per cent of every donation accepted on its behalf and allows for additional funding of up to 50 per cent of the original donation.

Hockey Canada and BFL Canada are on the hunt for the country’s best women’s hockey coaches, and they are calling on players and parents from coast to coast to coast to nominate coaches who have made significant contributions to the game. Nominations for the BFL Female Coach of the Year award are closing on March 30.
