2019 Digital Mascot Contest

Hockey Alberta is adopting a Digital Mascot, and we want students across the province to help us with the design!

The contest is open to elementary school students in Alberta from Kindergarten to Grade 6. The contest runs until April 5, 2019 with the winner announced in early June.

Each person participating in the contest is to:

  • draw a picture of his/her suggestion for a digital mascot for Hockey Alberta;
  • write a short paragraph telling how the digital mascot shows off the positive aspects of hockey and/or why the mascot is a good one for Hockey Alberta; and
  • provide a name for the mascot.

Submissions will be reviewed by a panel selected by Hockey Alberta. Each entry will be reviewed on its look, the mascot’s name and the written paragraph.

If a classroom is participating in the 2019 Hockey Alberta Digital Mascot Contest, each student is to complete his/her own digital mascot contest entry worksheet.
